Wie Cockpita Google nutzt
Version 1.1 · Stand 10.10.2026
Stand: Oktober 2026
Verbindung trennen
In Cockpita unter Einstellungen → Verbindungen → Trennen. Oder jederzeit direkt bei Google unter https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Eingeschränkte Nutzung

English version: How Cockpita uses Google data
Cockpita is business software for freelancers and small companies: tasks, calendar, appointment booking, contacts, sales pipeline and team chat in one place. Connecting a Google account is optional. Cockpita works without it.
Permissions
| Scope | Purpose | When it is requested |
|---|---|---|
| calendar.events | Show events and create, update and cancel bookings and the user's own events in Google Calendar | When the user connects Google Calendar under Settings → Connections |
| calendar.calendarlist.readonly | List the user's calendars so they can choose which ones are shown and used for availability | Together with the calendar connection |
| contacts.readonly and contacts.other.readonly | Import contacts into the CRM | Only when the user starts the Google import in Contacts |
| gmail.send | Send booking confirmations and reminders to guests from the user's own Gmail | Only when the user turns on Gmail sending. No read access to the mailbox |
We also request "openid" and "email" to identify which Google account is connected.
What we do not do
- We do not read emails. Cockpita has no read access to the mailbox.
- We do not sell data.
- We do not use Google data for advertising.
- We do not train AI models with Google data.
- We do not share Google data with third parties, except technical service providers needed to provide the feature.
Storage
Google access tokens are stored encrypted on the server. Database and server functions run at our hosting provider in a data center in the USA (AWS region us-east-1), based on the EU US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
When the user disconnects their Google account under Settings → Connections, we delete the tokens and revoke them with Google. Access for the contacts import can be revoked at any time in the Google account; an invalid token is then deleted automatically. Events synced from Google are removed from Cockpita. Imported contacts become regular CRM contacts and remain until the user deletes them.
Disconnecting
In Cockpita under Settings → Connections → Disconnect, or at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Limited Use
Cockpita's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
